Words, Wind, and Wood with Jerry Lagadec

Local poet and musician Jerry Lagadec performs original poetry and musical accompaniment using the Native American flute and acoustic guitar.

Jerry Lagadec, born in Paris, France, later became an American citizen and served in the U.S. Army as a military police officer. He learned about Native American cultures first hand through his experiences in New Mexico living on the Zuni Reservation and teaching at the Pine Hill Navajo School in Ramah and the Albuquerque Indian School. A professional musician, Lagadec now concentrates on writing and recording original compositions.
