For the kids (ages 0-12), we have a large selection of prizes this year. First we have 2 different bags filled with children’s books; you can view the image of the exact titles on the Beanstack website. Next we have some gift certificates for Just Claying Around, Game Stop and the Lego Store. If you are looking to go somewhere and have fun, try to win the 60 minute jump pass to 60 minute Jump Passes for Altitude Trampoline Park in Avon, MA, a pass to the Basketball Hall of Fame or a FREE ONE TIME General Admission Family pass to the Eric Carle Museum. Programs:
We continue our Virtual Princess Story Times; new videos are posted on Mondays. This program is sponsored by a grant from the Bridgewater Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
On Wednesday nights in August, Virtual PJ Story Time with Miss Dixie which is brought to us by Triumph, Inc.
Corinne is back on Thursday, August 12 at 1 PM with a virtual program for kids and teens interested in learning to draw Mythical Creatures and you can register for that program to receive your ZOOM link. Corinne ran a program for us in July and she is very engaging and encouraging.
Join us for a special performance by Toe Jam Puppet Band on Tuesday, August 17 @ 1 PM in Music Alley (50 Central Square, Bridgewater, MA 02324). Toe Jam Puppet Band is known for its hands-on children’s entertainment that is perfect for families to enjoy together. The performances are interactive, and feature singing and dancing to original songs, watching shadow puppetry, and listening to storytelling. This program will be held outdoors in Music Alley and in the event of inclement weather, this program will be cancelled.
Kits to Go Available:
This month's "Take and Make Craft" is a paper bag monkey puppet. This craft will be available to pick up starting on Tuesday, August 3. While supplies last, one per child please.
There will also be a very cool "Grab and Go Craft" this month with glow in the dark beads. You’ll want to definitely stop in and get one of these bracelet kits. This craft will be available starting on Friday, August 20 while supplies last.
For teens and tweens, we have a "Mindfulness Journal Kit" available beginning on Tuesday, August 24 while supplies last. This blank journal gives you pages to fill with your thoughts or drawing and includes stickers to decorate your journal, a pencil and a sheet with mindfulness prompts.
