Learning Theories

I am going to present a lesson plan that will tie in the Multiple Intelligence Theory with Constructivism. The children will construct a database that answers - How can they bring art and science together?

I believe that students possess different intelligences and they are stronger in some then others. They can combine these intelligences among themselves, and as a group using their past and present knowledge together.

Instructional strategies based on learning theories of Constructivism and the Multiple Intelligences Theory.

Students will show how art and science are related by using their different and strongest Multiple Intelligences. Then they will construct a database showing this.

This is based on the learning theory of Constructivism by actively participating in the learning process and combining prior and existing knowledge.
